Our Utter Nonsense green jumper has gained a cult following since it was discovered that Taylor Swift will be wearing it in her Disney+ documentary series which launches on 12 December. We wait with bated breath – and slight disbelief to see. In the meantime. Our original inspiration for the statement (which probably inspired the American Icon and worldwide superstar Taylor Swift to buy it too) came from the quote by a truly English icon, Dame Julie Andrews DBE (AKA Mary Poppins)  an English actress, singer, and author. Throughout her career spanning over seven decades, she has received numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, three Grammy Awards, and six Golden Globe Awards. Julie Andrews embodies the spirit of optimism and individuality we celebrate through our knitwear and Taylor Swift does too.

Born in 1935, Julie Andrews was a hit on the English stage before duplicating that success on Broadway, where she received Tony Award nominations for her roles in Camelot and My Fair Lady. She won an Academy Award for playing the title role in Mary Poppins and was also nominated for her performance in The Sound of Music. Andrews later worked on a number of acclaimed films with husband Blake Edwards and was made a English dame in 2000.

Care Instructions

We want you to enjoy wearing your beautiful Fund jumper for years to come. We therefore recommend that you wash it by hand so that it stays in perfect condition.

 

Handwash at 20 degrees in warm water using cashmere or wool shampoo.

 

To dry lay flat at room temperature. Do not tumble dry.
