Trouble Jumper

“Everyone has their fate, the more people try to avoid it, the more trouble they get into” WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE

INSPIRED BY - WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE

The English poet, playwright and actor. Widely regarded as the greatest ever writer in the English language, his work has been translated into every major living language. His tragedies including Hamlet, Macbeth, King Lear, Romeo and Juliet have been constantly reinterpreted through various cultural and political context around the world.

Born in Stratford, William married Anne Hathaway at age 18 and six months later his first child was born. It is rumoured that he had to leave his young family and flee to London to escape prosecution for poaching.

He joined a small theatre company, who rebelled against the establishment, by building their own theatre, the Globe where they were able to perform Shakespeare’s plays uncensored. Eventually they were awarded the royal patent by King James I.
