A woman of astonishing conviction, she founded the Women’s Social and Political Union in 1903 and led the movement that would forever change Britain’s social fabric — and women’s rights worldwide.

Born in Manchester in 1858, Pankhurst believed in “deeds, not words,” and her uncompromising activism helped secure the vote for women in 1928. Her legacy is one of courage, wit and willpower — proof that rebellion, when guided by justice, reshapes history.

Care Instructions

We want you to enjoy wearing your beautiful Fund jumper for years to come. We therefore recommend that you wash it by hand so that it stays in perfect condition.

 

Handwash at 20 degrees in warm water using cashmere or wool shampoo.

 

To dry lay flat at room temperature. Do not tumble dry.
