Our GOOD GRACIOUS sweater is inspired by Edward Morgan Forster, the English novelist and essayist who taught us that decency, connection, and courage are the true measures of civilisation. Born in London in 1879, Forster’s works — from A Room with a View to Howards End and A Passage to India — challenged the constraints of class and convention with elegance and empathy.

With a raised eyebrow and impeccable manners, Forster skewered English hypocrisy while urging us simply to “only connect.” His writing shimmered with grace, wit, and moral intelligence — a quiet rebellion against indifference.

Knitted in England from 100% British lambswool, the GOOD GRACIOUS jumper embodies that same refined irreverence. Embroidered to order  in bold yellow lettering, it’s a wink to wit and warmth — a soft protest against cynicism, stitched with humour and heart.

Care Instructions

We want you to enjoy wearing your beautiful Fund jumper for years to come. We therefore recommend that you wash it by hand so that it stays in perfect condition.

 

Handwash at 20 degrees in warm water using cashmere or wool shampoo.

 

To dry lay flat at room temperature. Do not tumble dry.
