BESPOKE EMBROIDERED Brave Jumper
INSPIRED BY - NELSON MANDELA
The heroic South African activist, awarded the Noble Peace Prize for his work dismantling the legacy of apartheid through non-violence protest. Nelson was the country’s first black head of state and the first elected in a fully democratic election. His government focused on tackling institutional racism and in fostering reconciliation. He looked for remembrance rather than revenge, for the apartheid system. A system where non-white citizens were segregated from whites and didn’t hold equal rights in society. They could not ride on the same bus, go to the same school or eat in the same café. As the result of his non-violent public protests he spent 27 years of his life in prison, became a hero to his people and a symbol of hope to the world.
