Our Mission

FUND’s mission was deeply inspired by its founder Rachael’s adventures overseas—first growing up in a remote outpost in Southern Africa, and later teaching English in a small mountain community in the high Himalayas.

At FUND, we champion traditional skilled handcraft and the use of natural, sustainable processes and materials. We also advocate for animal welfare and workers’ rights. Most of all, we champion equality for all and hope to inspire social change that leads to a more sustainable future.

Since our launch, we have collaborated with inspiring individuals through an amazing UK-based charity that provides free school meals to children in some of the poorest countries around the world.

We donate 10 school meals for children living in poverty with every full price sweater we sell. We believe that education leads to empowerment and equality. With your help, we have already donated thousands of school meals to vulnerable children. Often, this free meal is the difference between a child being able to attend school or being kept at home to work for the family.

It is often the only meal many children will have that day and relieves a huge burden for families living in poverty. Across the world, 800 million people are living without basic food and water. This is a problem we—as a global community—can solve. With your help, within our lifetime, we could end world poverty.

Through education, these children can grow up with greater understanding and insight into the challenging future we all face. They can then help make better choices, work together for a sustainable future—and maybe, just maybe, a few of them might even change the world.
